A free online video editor with no watermark and no upload.

VimCut is an online video editor that runs in your browser. Use a single-purpose tool for one job, or open the Studio for a bigger edit.

Your files stay on your device

Processing runs inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing for us to store or lose.

No sign-up

Open a tool and start. No email, no password, no trial that ends.

No watermark

What you download is your video, clean. Nothing stamped on the corner.

Phone, tablet or desktop

Works in modern browsers on any device. Nothing to install.

One tool, one job

Each tool has its own page with only the controls that job needs, so there is nothing to learn.

A full studio when you need it

For bigger edits, open the Studio: a timeline editor for cutting, arranging and adding sound.

In your browser vs. on a server

Most online video tools upload your file, process it remotely, then send it back. Here is the difference.

What this online video editor can do

Each job has its own page. You can compress video, trim and split clips, crop the frame, merge several files, mute or replace the sound, make a GIF and extract audio as MP3. Every page shows only the controls that job needs, so there is nothing to learn before you start.

When a project needs several steps in a row, the Studio is a timeline editor in the same browser tab. You can arrange clips, cut, add music and export one MP4.

No watermark, no sign-up, no catch

Many free editors stamp a logo on the export or hide the download button behind an account. VimCut does neither. There is no watermark on any file, no sign-up and no trial period, because the work runs on your device and costs us nothing per video.

For the same reason there is no upload wait and no daily limit. The only limit is the memory of your phone or computer, and the tool warns you before a file is too large to handle.

A video compressor and a video converter built in

The video compressor makes large files small enough to email or message, with presets for WhatsApp and Discord. The video converter tools, including Convert to MP4 and MOV to MP4, turn clips from phones, cameras and older formats into an MP4 that plays almost anywhere.

Browser editing compared with desktop apps

A browser editor needs no install and works on any device, which suits quick jobs. A desktop app is still the better choice for very long projects, effects and colour grading. VimCut is built for the quick jobs, and it says so when a file is too big for your device instead of failing quietly.
